I will commit to working during a few days / hours during this weeekend. Is there an interest in C3VR parking for this event? My local vette buddies registrated for vette parking for "the locals" during this event and it was great. We were able to come and go at our leasure during the events including the Beach Boys all in all it was great!
Do they have reserved club parking or is it first come first served?

We will be arranging club parking for Funfest as we get closer to the show. Stay tuned for details!

As Adam said they have club parking. He will need to know an approxamate number so that Mid Ameraica can define how much area will be neccessary to provide. It's pretty cool because you can come and go through the main gate at will and be assured of great parking. This was inclusive of whatever main event they show. We set up a large canopy in our area (local vette's) and our wives hung out there and talked about us (hee-hee). It was great cause we always had a central meeting place & a place for a cook out.

That will be great. We'll have to be sure we have a C3VR banner so everyone can stop by and say hello. I might be able to borrow a EZ-UP 10x10 tent.

Dave,

Adam and I will be coordinating getting a banner, flyers, signup sheets and etc.  Adam also told me that MAM provides a popup tent, a table and a couple of chairs so we're set there.  I plan on bringing a couple of extra camping/foldup type chairs as well.  I also have the mini-banner that Mike G. had made for me.

I've booked a room at the Super8 in Mattoon, which is about 30 miles away, but I'm still going to check out the 'camping-at-the-site' option to see what is available.

Here's the response I received to an e-mail about camping at MAM-FF:
Hi Jim,

Yes!  We do allow free camping on Mid America Motorworks grounds in designated areas, Thursday through Sunday after the show. The accommodations are primitive however, only port-a-potties and hand wash stations are available. No hook ups, showers etc. There is a dumping station and water fill up, at Crossroads RV Sales at the 4-way stop lights just a mile south of Mid America Motorworks. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Depending on the weather I may not be able to stand myself after a couple of days without a shower...!!!

Jim,
You just have to be creative when using the port-a-potty and wash station. A sponge, a little liquid soap and a couple of water bottles can do miracles.
