This absolutely does not make sense but as I look at the main forum page ( showing all the forums ) I see seven users on line but on every other page it shows two. I would think that would be "picked" from the same program variable. ?????
This is obviously not really a problem as far as operability goes, but you asked for inputs.
I just hit edit and it took me back to main page ( index ??? ) just like it did before.|/QUOTE|

First, as far as the Users Online, if you see it one number on one page, and another number on another page, one of two things has happened... 1) You happen to switch pages as other users have timedout or 2) You need to Refresh the page for the number to update correctly.

Second, I can not reproduce the problem that when you click Edit Reply, it brings you to the home page. Is anyone else having this trouble?

Nope, I get to the Entering Message page without a hitch when clicking on either the Reply or Edit Reply buttons.

Don't know what to tell ya. I am using I.E. 5.5 at home and work and as soon as I click edit whether I am editing my own post or just hitting edit at the end of the last post, it takes me to the main page first and then into the editing function. If it is only me having the problem, then don't worry about it, I will deal with it. If it is driving you crazy, as these things sometimes do, then come over to where I work ( about 3 to 4 minutes from Hooters ) and I will show you what it is doing.

Well, I have been called worse! |biggrin|
Go to the last posting on a subject and click on the edit button below it and see where it takes you.
I just posted this and clicked on the edit reply and for the first time, it took me to the post so I could edit it but the edit below the post too me to the home page again. Who knows, maybe it is supposd to do that. A true crazy man would have the answer but he would have to state it as a question.

I think I finally figured out what you were talking about.

You aren't supposed to see the EDIT button if the thread was not started by you. But you were able to, and by clicking on it, you were trying to edit a message that wasn't written by you, so you are tossed back to the Home Page.

I believe I have fixed it. You should not be able to see the EDIT button at the top or bottom of this thread, or any thread that wasn't started by you.

Thanks!

OK ! Now that I'm not crazy anymore, all I have to deal with is paranoid and cheap.

Hey Adam,

While converting the IM page to the new format I'd suggest changing the Go button to Send.
