|bouncy| Adam I too agree with the previous posting that said several of the real knowledgable guys should get special privliges (free) just for their input alone. I eagerly paid for gold only being on this site four times and I saw the value which this site provided to me.
I'm a taker now, only because I'm new to the whole C3 thing...and I should have to pay for that service. Maybe someday I'll be as knowledgable as those that have helped me out, but please re-evaluate membership to those that help out so much on this site I would hate to see them go.
|idea| In fact what would be nice, so as not to discourage any future knowledgable guys from joining...and their valuable input going elsewhere...maybe offer everone free 10 day sign-up, then assess a charge after if they would like to continue, this way you'll be able to evaluate new blood comming in, and not miss out on any new talent. Maybe just send them a personl email and offering them a gold membership to stay on.

The new membership structure will have a free 90 day period where new Standard members will be able to check out the site, but not do any posting. Check out Adam's latest post on the new membership structure for all the details.

Vette(s): 1982 Bright Blue Corvette Coupe, 5.7L 350 V8 w/ a performance chip & 160-degree fail-safe thermostat, K&N filters, Hedman Headers & a tru-dual exhaust w/ Borla tips. Turbo-700 has a B&M Shift Kit & rear end has 3.73 posi-gears.
I think the membership fee is a small price for all the good info that this site has to offer. I have saved more than the price of the membership from good advice I've received from this site, and mistakes I've avoided. I'm lucky because I have a late model C3, so I'm here as long as the site remains reasonable $. Keep up the good work!

Adam,
Thanks for starting this site. I built my 75 before I new of the c3reg. and had to learn the hard way in getting answers to more questions then anyone can imagine. I see now that if I had this site then I would have saved an untold amount money. Lets just say a lot of $10.00. I don't think your out of line at all. Please keep up the GOOD WORK. I'm happy I found a place were I can help others and maybe save them that $10.00. |thumb|

It was almost time (mid July) to decide whether to stay, continue the gold, or go lifetime.

Lifetime won out. |thumb|

Adam

Please do not feel you have to reply to this as i know how busy you must be.

I just wanted to say i am stunned by the negative response of the other members, i have only been a member of this site since April this year and the wealth of help and information has not only saved my time(valuable) but my money too, the '$10' is a small price to pay for what is provided, however i see no reason not to go "GOLD" i shall therfore be zooming off as soon as i have finished this to sign up for Gold membership, oh yes i could wait like some of those miserly people out there, but why just for a few bucks.

To all those who have cancelled and are going to cancel 'Goodbye' all for the sake of $10, you should be ashamed.

Good luck Adam and keep up the good work.

Gary
