Hey folks.

I don't know what is going on, but over the past couple of weeks emails being sent automatically from C3VR (forum updates, notifications, etc) have been bouncing back with various errors dealing with the fact that the receiving system (your email provider) thinks the sending system (C3VR) is fake or not reporting itself correctly.  When this first started to happen, I made some changes to C3VR's settings and the problem seemed to go away.  Yet the past day or so, emails are being bounced again and I have no idea why.  I don't know what is causing it or what can be done to resolve it.  I'm kinda stuck at this point.

So, anyway, I just wanted you to be aware if you think you should be getting emails from C3VR but aren't, this could be the reason.

One work around for this is to get yourself an @C3VRMail.com email address and use that to receive emails from C3VR.

Hopefully this will resolve itself, and if not, I'll have to look further into a fix.

Basically because of the jerks that are out there sending true spam, it makes it harder for the "good guys" to send legitimate emails.

Here are some of the folks that are bouncing back:

I'm getting them on my Juno and the C3 e-mail systems.

I contacted my host provider Thursday. They actually found a problem on their end and fixed it. I haven't had any bounces since.

Email notifications are coming through fine with my msn.com account.  A lot from the "I Believe..."  thread.

I added this site and many others as trusted sources with my ISP and it stops the emails from being rejected as spam.
