It's getting to be that time of year when "The Show Season" starts to wake up. Several folks have noticed the bullet item Adam put on the C3VR Home page - Add Corvette Events to the Calendar. Nearly a dozen events have been submitted for addition to the calendars already this week!

Right now the Vette Event Calendars (both the List Option and Graphical) and the Vette Events regional forums are somewhat loosely connected. By that I mean submitting an event for addition to the calendars doesn't get it automatically posted into a regional forum; and likewise, posting an event into a regional forum doesn't get it automatically submitted for addition to the calendars. There's a fair amount of 'copying-n-pasting' action that goes on behind the scenes to get a submitted event approved and added into both calendars.

An effort has been started to pull all of this together so that event information will be input in just one place and then get submitted for addition to all three event areas simultaneously: the List Option calendar, the Graphical calendar, and the corresponding regional forum. The details of just how all this "magic" is going to work haven't been totally sorted out yet, but it is in the works.

So in the meantime, please bear with the "keepers of the calendars" as the number of events being submitted begins to increase. Events will get approved and added to the calendars as quickly as possible. And please keep the regional event coordinators up-to-date on events in your region so those forum areas can be kept insync with the calendars as much as possible.
