It was just about 8 years ago that the C3VR website was officially launched (Nov. 1st, 2001).
The site has gone through a number of upgrades since then and is now what I believe to be one of the best Corvette sites on the web. But better than that, C3VR has become the best club for C3 owners and enthusiasts!
Our membership has changed a bit over the years as well. However, there do still remain some from our beginnings. C3VR would not be what it is today without the help and support of all of YOU, our members! You help keep C3VR going by providing financial, physical and spiritual support. Many of you have become like family among each other and me. I think that is truly one of the most spectacular aspects of C3VR... that family feeling.
Speaking of family.... the next year for me will be a bit different. This coming Friday I am expecting the arrival of my second child, my first daughter. Her name is Laura and she should be here Friday morning. I'm certain that the next month or so following her arrival, I will be even less active on C3VR than I have been in the past year. I do not plan to attend any shows until Carlisle 2010 and I still plan to produce Corvettes for a Cure 2010. Other than that, I will be taking a break from the Corvette world to spend as much time with my new daughter and family as much as possible. This means I will not be attending our 2010 C3VR Member Gathering. I very much appreciate all the work that has already been done for the 2010 event and want to thank those folks involved very much! Since I will not be able to do any planning or even attend the event, it is crucial that folks stepped up to help put it together. I'm sure it will be as good as or better than the Gatherings that have come before it.
Thank you to everyone that is a part of C3VR, members & sponsors, for helping to keep alive a little hobby I started almost a decade ago. You guys (and gals) are the BEST!

Adam, good luck with everything this week!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
Happy Birthday C3VR! Even though I've only been here a year and a half the people I've met on line and in person from the site have been the best! This is the one site that I check daily. Keep up the good work, gents ( and ladies ).
