I hadn't planned on it, but I guess I will bring what I have currently in stock with me. (As much as will fit in the back of my Vette, anyway).

Hi All,
We have a few stops to make on our way to Hershey so we will be leaving in the morning. We are about 1100 miles from Hershey so we have a ways to go. We plan to be there Friday afternoon sometime and are looking forward to meeting everyone. See you there! |saluteflag| |cheers|

For those of you going to Hershey leaving from New Jersey or eastern Pa. ( or anyone who can fit this route into their drive......if you are interested in caravaning into Hershey, probabley the best place to meet is a rest area on the Pa. turnpike. Since I have no idea where you will be coming from this is the best I can offer: We will meet at the rest stop between 6:45 and 7:15 Friday evening. Leaving at 7:15 sharp. To give an idea of times, if you are at the Valley Forge interchange of the turnpike at 6:30 you should reach the rest stop at 6:50. It is 13 miles from Valley Forge to Downingtown and 7 miles from Downingtown to the rest stop. I am sure by now you are wondering what the name of the rest stop is. Joe B. told me the name today and I promptly forgot it. That is strictly a function of age |biggrin| . Anyhow, I believe it is about an hour to and hour and 15 minutes from there to Hershey. You can not miss the rest stop as it is the only one between Downingtown and Morgantown. We decided on the rest stop because it is right on the way and the turnpike will be the easiest and fastest way to get there from eastern Pa and points east.
We should be at the motel in plenty of time for a late supper or snack and definately a couple cold drinks before bed.
Hope to see many of you there and hope to see some of you at the rest stop.
Joe B.....I know you will be busy with the American Dream show tomorrow but if you read this, please post the name of the rest stop for everyone. (thanks)

Sounds like a prize should be in the offing for the member who made the longest journey to Hershey! |hammer|

Glenn, thanks for the idea... hopefully there will be some takers and you can get a few cars to caravan...

As for me... as much as I would like to join your Caravan... since I am the host of the event, I feel I need to be there earlier than that. I am going to shoot to be there by 5pm.

If anyone is taking the PA TP, will be passing the Valley Forge exit, and would like to arrive Hershey around 5pm, shoot me an email: adam@c3vr.com

See ya there!
