Just a quick note to tell ya'll that despite the weather, almost all of us are already here! Most everyone was here by 7pm. We walked to a neat restaurant/deli next door and had dinner. Then we walked a little further to a bar and had some drinks.

Tomorrow morning we plan on walking to a nearby place for breakfast, since even though the hotel has a continental breakfast, they don't have a lobby to sit in.

Then it's off to the parade, followed by the BBQ in the evening.

So far, we are missing STINGRAYBS (who I expect to arrive tomorrow), Cilla Booker, crazcorkath, JacksL71, brian7836 & DIE4RED.

As I write this, Adam and crew are probably still at breakfast. My wife and I could not stay to eat this morning because we had to get back to the Vet's office and pick up our dog before the vet closed for the day.
The weather for the parade was overcast with mist and light showers so the tops stayed up and so did everyone's spirits. The cookout was great fun giving us all a chance to relax and get in some good conversation.
It was great meeting people that we have only talked to on line and getting to see some really fantastic looking Vettes!
All in all, it was a lot of fun and the wife and I are looking forward to the next gathering. (hint)

Even though the weather wasn't the best, it was a great time. It was nice to meet everyone in person and put a face with a car or username. Next time, I promise to bring my car.

The gathering was a big success!!!!
Hopefully next year we can get more members there and more to come with their cars. Sorry guys, had to say that, but kidding aside, it was great meeting everyone. That was the first time since I had my car that I saw 3 - 71 big blocks with air at the same place. AWESOM!!!!!!!!!!!
