Dear Members,

I need to let you all know that due to family issues, effective immedately I will be attending to the site a lot less than I have been.

Currently, I've been attending to it on a daily basis, answering emails, fixing issues, making changes or enhancements, processing vanity plates, publishing Shark Bytes, sending out member cards, processing apparel orders, etc.  And coming up, I have to make the 2006 calendar.

I will not necessarily be able to do these things on a daily basis any more.  What this means to you is that you may see a delay in replies to emails.  Changes and enhancments may take longer, shark bytes may be late, cards may take longer to go out, etc.  Next year, I will attend Carlisle, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to attend any other events.  I also am unsure if I will be able to create Corvettes for a Cure 3.

I really don't want to give up the site, and I am going to do my best not to do that.

So please bear with me if things take a little longer than they used to.

If you ever get to a point that you are really bothered by a delay in something, you can email me about it and if you feel you are not getting your money's worth, I will be happy to refund your money. But I don't expect that you will feel much of the effect of this.  The website will still be online, and the forums will still work, which is how most of you benefit from being a member.

C6VR.com will likely come down.

My family needs to come first, and I haven't been putting them in that position.

Thank you for your support.

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!

I do know family comes first.  My summer was a bit much, and that's not over yet, but improving.

Adam, let us know what we can do to help the site.  Perhaps some of us can do some of the chores needed to help out. Some things I may be able to help with, some I cannot.  But someone will.  Just let us know.

Our only request it that we find some way to keep the site up no matter what.  To lose the site would be like losing family.  This is family.  And your extended family will do our best to give you the time to tend to your home family.  Best of luck.

Adam:

I am new to the scene but I agree with Ken. This seems to be a tight group of guys with a hell of a lot of experience and comraderie. Would be a shame for it to sink. How about posting a list of responsibilities and see what happens in the way of volunteers. You can email details to those who want to get involved. Delegate man! There is a lot of talent and support out here in cyber space.

Paul

Adam,

I'm not sure what is going on and that is up to you whether you want to share it with the members, but I know you had to be posting this from Bowling Green in conjunction with the c3x.  I did not see you today on site, and I know you were to go and get your carb tuned,  but if there is anything you need from me just let me know.  My family life and work schedule is beyond nuts, but I will help out and in any way that I can.

I can only speculate and have a deep speculation on what is going on, but if its marital, then there is hope.  I agree with Ken, we have a strong family here and I'm sure that we can all pull together to see you, your family and your online extended family through this troubled time in your life.  We did for Ken, We did for Ben, we did for Corvette Racer and we have for many others and will continue to be there for anyone that needs us.

This is what makes us and seperates us (C3VR) from all the other forums out there.  You have all my contact info and you are welcome to abuse them if you need someone to talk to, someone to listen or someone to create a distraction from the hardships you and your family may be feeling.
