I don't think it would matter if you had windows to put the sticker on because the years
membership would be up before you got a sticker anyway. |cussing| This is a great site
and Adam has put a lot of work into it but I think when you ask people to pay for items to
help out they should get what they pay for. I bought apparell and the gold membership when
it was first offered just to help out. This is a great site and you can learn alot about corvettes
because of Adams hard work, but if you want us to help give us what we pay for. |frown|

I'm sorry that you are upset. I want you to know that I am doing my best to keep up with everything. There is A LOT of things going on with this site simultaniously! While I do have help for maintanance of the forums, *I* am the only one that works on the administrative things such as placing apparel orders and sending out member cards and window stickers.

As far as the apparel orders taking a long time, the apparel order area states that it can take 6-8 weeks for delivery. Please let me know if you didn't get yours in that time frame, but I believe that you did.

As far as the window stickers, technically I never told anyone, nor does it state anywhere on the site that "all members get a window sticker." I've told you in the forums that I have them and I will try to send them to everyone as I have a chance to.

So as far as I can tell, you are getting what you paid for.

If you still have any issues, please let me know, because I do not want any of my members to be unhappy. Please just remember, this is not my full time job, and I'm already in enough trouble with the wife for how much time I spend with the site, and not her!

Thank you!
|cheers|

Hey Adam, I thought that I had the market covered by having my wife p.o at me for the amount of time I spend on line. Then she happened to glance at the scantily clad magazine advertisements and wooohooo. I tried to explain that they werent naked and they were just magazine covers. She wasnt having any of it. |cheers|

Adam: I just want to let you know that I did get the apparel, I was just saying I was trying to
help out by ordering them. I go to alot of local car shows that my wife & I like to wear the tee
shirts & hats to let the other C3 owners know about the C3VR. I would have liked to have had
a window sticker for anyone to see that was looking at the car. I did not know that all Gold
Members didn't get one so don't worry about one for me. I apologize for taking up your time
with these posts. Keep up the good work.

Thanks
Madvette

Cornel,

I know how you feel, I am kind of in the same situation that you are in my state. Alot of the C3 owners that I see at shows or cruise with are computer illiterate. They want visible proof that you are a member of a club or a registry. I think we all agree that Adam has done a good job with this site. But I am like you , I could have probably recruited a lot of new members over the last few months.

As far as apologizing, you shouldn't have too. You have been a member since December of last year. You have stuck in there for 6 months. Every member should be able to voice his opinion on the isssues when he feels the need. Technically, Adam does have you though on the window stickers. He never said all members would get a window sticker, but on one of his earlier post he did say that the Gold membership dues would pay for the cost of the stickers and each Gold member would get a special membership card when they joined
http://www.c3vr.com/c3vforums/message_go.asp?MID=1735

With 892 members total, I can see how it would get kind of hectic trying to send everyone a card. But there are only 37 Gold members active. My question is, how many Gold members out there have received or have their membership card and any other literature that they are entitled to?
