Hey Gang!
I created a Member Map for July.
I haven't done one since April, so it looks pretty different!
From the looks of things we have yet to get members from only three states: North Dakota, Maine and DC! Maybe no one has a C3 in those places!?
Remember, you can always get to the Member Maps from the Community menu, then Member Stats.

Adam,
I just looked at the member map and noticed something. You show 4 members from Hawaii but only three are listed? The fourth joined but wants no info listed? Anyhow, the reason I mention it is, I met a C3 owner while I was there! He has a yellow T-top. I met him in a gas station ( sorta like Vettes passing in the night type of thing ). I was so involved in hearing the story of why his drivers quarter pannel was all torn up that I completely forgot to mention the registry or to even give him on of my Keystone State business cards. Anyway, he had the car at a local mechanics and during the job the mechnaic admitted that he thought the wheel bearing was going bad but "forgot" to replace it. On the test drive it must have frozen or something and the rear wheel "popped off" and tore up the quarter panel. I am going to have to try sending some e-mails to the guys on the members list and see if I can get this guys name.

Yes, if someone choses to hide their info, they will be counted for the state, but will not show up in the state listing.

Oddly enough I drive in DC almost every day and I've never seen another C3, actually, I can't remember the last time I saw a Vette of any flavor IN DC, around I've seen my share, but none in the city. Odd if you ask me, but maybe they're against the law in that drugland
Sorry.

Hmmm, do I remember correctly that DC has the highest crime rate in the country or was it the highest homicide rate? Either way, I don't think I would even drive through DC in my Vette.

Glenn,
DC gets a bad rap. Well, the music of choice is bad rap...one or the other
I drive the C3 on the beltway most days because my girlfriend lives on the other side
inside the city there are 4 districts...1 is good, 1 is horrible, and the other 2 are bad. I live by Southeast(the bad one) and the whole county in MD is like southeast...so even outside the city isn't a great place to be. Just never run out of gas or get a flat!! It'll be ok. Tops on, windows up, rifle ready.
Still better than Newark, NJ where I live during the year!!

Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.
Boy,
That sounds like a place that most westerners would like to stay away from...
