Hello all.

You've probably noticed the addition of the "Moderators Only" forum. Which obviously means there are now moderators out there (watching your every move |eek|)

I thought I'd share with you who they are...
first, please note that you will now see the word "Moderator" below a member's name in the Message View if that person is a moderator. Also, you'll see that same indication in the View Profile on the "Member Type" line.

Here are your current C3VR Moderators:
Mark72LS5
Me (of course)
vettelooker
e3pres
Juliet
Norsky
LakotasRose
82dukman
4webers

Glenn,

I hope Adam won't mind my sharing this because I think it best answers your question. Here is a direct quote from the "recruitment" letter I received from Adam recently:

"Basically, the Forum Moderator job means looking for messages that warrant deletion, like obsene or offensive, or if someone posted the same message twice by accident... stuff like that."

But I think it also entails a little more than that, like trying to be a good "clubber" by offering help to fellow members if you can, being an extra set of eyes for Adam because he can't be every where all the time, and generally trying to be a good citizen of the site. We're all "moderators" to a degree by the way we help and respect each other already. I think we have an exceptional group of members here at C3VR and I hope it continues to grow that way.

- Jim, well said, excellent choice of words. If there was a position for a mediator you would be first in line in my book. |biggrin|
