First, thanks to all for the nice words about my work on the site.
I am, as the slogan says, just trying to make this the best resource on the net for C3 Vettes!
I had an attempt at putting message navigation buttons/links into the forums about a month ago, but it proved to be harder than I expected, so I moved on to other, easier enhancements first.
I will certainly be adding those navigation buttons as soon as I have a chance.
The next feature you should see added (which I am currently completing) is the ability to for you customize the site colors. You'll like this if you hate the original blue/black/yellow design! Stay tuned...
Thanks, and keep the suggestions coming!!

Dave,
I still gotta tell ya, my browser can't read .art files. Nor do I know what .art files are. Can't you convert them to .jpg or .gif then reupload them?
Thanks!

Adam,
When the login screen pops up it would be nice to have the cursor set itself in the user name field. Don't know what you have for code under the hood of the site and I am by no means a "web-ster", but I work with a bunch of them. One shared a bit of Java Script code that would do the trick.
document.forms.formname.fieldname.focus();
He said to put this piece of code outside of a function so it always gets executed when the page comes up. Hope it makes some sense to you. It's mostly "greek" (not geek) to me.

Jim,
I had been meaning to do that, and kept forgetting.
It's done.
Thanks for the reminder!

Hey Adam,
As long as the "Chat" room is experiencing problems, would you consider plugging directly into the Instant Message area instead? I haven't discovered a quick link to the IM yet (I've probably missed it!) and have only been able to get there after going through a couple of other pages first. Just a thought.

Jim,
The IM feature is really only meant to come up if someone sends you a message, or if you have already found someone specific to send an IM to.
If the IM window just came up, without first picking a member to send an IM to, their name would not show up in the list unless they were on line. So the idea is to pick a name somewhere else within the site, then send them an IM.
Hope this clears things up for you!

No problem. 99.9999% of the C3VR site is very straight forward and easy to use because of all the good work you've put into it. I was just looking for a shortcut to save some "quality 56k" time. If I had a network or broadband connection available I wouldn't have even mentioned it.
