No Rich, No paint yet. He said the shop is to full to bring it in. He is going to call me. I plan to take it there ON the car. Won't fit in my P/U.  SNOW is comming soon, SOOOOO. I need to get a move on. I am used to working in the lower temps on a car I enjoy, so let me know, I will help if I can. Archery season is done, so maybe we can set a time, and place. Are ya ready Paul?

Are you a BEAR hunter?  In WMU 3C, the season ended the 13th. Of course you can still use a bow in firearms season, guess that is a possibility. HAPPY HUNTING! I will be out there as well.

Now that's what I talking about..bows and cars..I get rifle after Thanksgiving..should be a good year..I have to take out the trans first to see if I have a 26 spline or a 10 spline clutch..one of the mysteries of having a very late 69 that really has 70 parts and design on it..maybe on one of your trips to the BIG house you can stop by and do the install..or just for no reason at all..just for a break..Thanks all it would be a blast.. I will let you know when..

GO

YUP, Had to do the same with mine. I have a 11 in clutch and 26 splines. I got a RAM from a speed shop on E-Bay. Best price I could find.  The ORIGINAL one was cleaning the rivets off. Re-faced the fly wheel, new ring gear, and hooked er up. Good so far.

I am getting an aluminum flywheel and have my eye on a clutch setup but not exactly sure which one yet...

Rich, Hope it has a steel ring gear. I HATE that tinny sound of a certain brand of cars.

Yeah Mark it has a steel ring gear..and a steel surface for the friction..it's replacable also..I know the sound you speak of..stuck on a kevlar friction with sprung hub or a ceramic non sprung..I know what I want but the misses won't be able to drive a ceramic button!!
