Those who entered the Live Chat tonight noticed a whole new chat room!  For its debut, it seems to do very well.  We had about 7 or 8 in there at one point, and it held up. No one got bumped, that I know of, and it is VERY quick!

If you were there tonight... let me know your thoughts on it.

I will try to make it so it will log you in using your real member name, not just any name you pick.

Ok.  I fixed the name issue. You'll now be logged in with your member name. Also, you have to be a registered member to get i.  Plus, you can not change your name once inside the room. This should help avoid confusion and impersonation from now on.

Its good you did that Boss. You we're getting just a wee bit out of control last night.

I also added a count to the Community menu, so you can see how many people are in the room before you go in.  Just hover over the "Community" menu and you'll see (x in room) next to the Live Chat menu item.

It is acurate to 20 seconds.  So if someone logged out less than 20 seconds ago, they'll still be counted.  After that, they are taken out of the count.
