Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.
|QUOTE|glenns said: I dunno Scot, if you are going to act in support your gonna have to get a pic out here just to show those who need some support how to do it.
If I may be so bold as to make a suggestion, it may be a good idea to write up a short procedure on exactly how to get a signature pic included with your sig. Would probably save a whole lot of posts and frustration on the part of those who need the help. You could either e-mail it to them or just create a new post that always stays at the top of a main category like news and information or general or even set up a new category just for it.

Glenn,
That is one heck of an idea. I second it. It only took Debbie 2 hours to get my hard head opened to get a picture in here. In fact make a diagram on how to do it. Sounds great...

Actually, it should be a part of the "Help" link at the top right of every page.
If someone (maybe Paragon75Ray) wants to write a how-to, I'll include it in the Help area.
I've never been one for writing documentation.

Hey that is a great idea. I think it took a week for me to get my Vette's pic posted. Remember
We just look good in our Vettes.

If it is that good of an idea, maybe I should get credit for , hmmm lets see, maybe about 27 postings and get it placed in the hints and tips? Maybe Rick will give me back my two cents for it too?

Hey now Glenn, why should I give you your 2 cents back?? It seems like you are trying to get perks from this site.
Of course, you have been sharing some of your money making tips with us. I tried to sell rides last weekend at a car show, but with my gas tank leaking, it cost too much for gas. So I just charged to let them set in a Vette. Pictures were extra.

Too bad it is so far to your cruise, if it were closer, I'd come. It'd be a pretty good commute, though . Howf far from St Louis? About 1000 miles? Don't think I could afford the gas in my gas hog!!

Yep, you would spend quite a bit for gas. Ever think about air freight?
As for selling rides, well, you are learning how to make the car pay for itself. Once you get them standing in line to pay for a ride, the next big hurdle is to have it make it's own repairs. The easiest way to do that is to buy another one that has been completely restored and have it give lessons to "the white witch". Then find Jay Leno and tell him how the cars fix themselves and convince him to buy them and put them on TV. At that point, you will have reached the point you have no financial worries and won't mind giving me my itty-bitty ole two cents back cause I haven't reached that point yet !

Glenn, are you giving us all of your trade secrets to success? If I get half way there, will you give lessons on how to talk Corvette? I can talk some english, some Harley, a little dog, even less cat, and all I know in Vette talk is GASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Hey Scot, are you going to include how to talk Vette in your tutorial forum? Maybe Glenn will share some more of his secrets there.
