Topic: Plea for help!
in Forum: Official C3 Vette Registry News and Information

Two of my biggest challenges are putting together Shark Bytes on a quarterly basis; and the Annual C3VR Member Gathering.
Shark Bytes winter 2007 is due out now. I haven't even started on it. I also have no new articles to put in it. It would only be news about C3VR. Honestly, I'd love to get rid of Shark Bytes but I think too many people would be upset. It is also one of the things that sets Gold Members apart from Standard Members.
The Gathering dates, location and hotels have been set, but that is it. I have no itinerary planned.
I need help with these two things most!
I could also use help with maintaining membership cards for Gold & Lifetime Members.
I do have some help with Corvettes for a Cure, which is great!
It is no secret that this is a business for me. I make a little money, but obviously not enough for it to be my full time job. If it were, I wouldn't need to ask for help. So if what it takes to get some help is to pay people, then I will. I am desperate for help. I certainly don't want C3VR to fall apart. I want it to maintain the level of quality that you have come to expect.
Please let me know via email or reply to this thread if you are willing/able to help and in what capacity.
Thank you.
P.S. I should thank Norsky here! He has helped me with support via member emails and other member online issues for a few years now. Also, Adams' Apple has stepped up without being asked to help members with photo/signature issues. If these guys weren't out there helping members, my workload would be even greater. THANKS GUYS!

While C3VR started as a hobby (and a small business) for Adam, it is a CLUB for the rest of us. And this club has grown a lot in 5 years...!!!
Those who attended the 2006 Member's Meeting will remember the discussions surrounding the need for volunteers to help with selected activities/duties/events/functions/etc. (Here's the meeting minutes to refresh memories.) There are also several threads in various places related to the topic of volunteering.
There already is a contingient of volunters helping to maintain the "quality of life" here at C3VR. They're the unheralded group of folks who have offered up some of their time to be forum moderators. Because of their vigilance C3VR has a safe and welcoming environment for all of us. (THANK YOU...!!! THANK YOU...!!! THANK YOU...!!!)
