Hey folks...
don't forget, the post counts that you see on the leader board, aren't necessarily acurate!

The post still have to be validated as worthwhile posts to be officially counted! (Which won't happen until after the contest is over).

Posts with things like "Hey, you just posted that to get a post, so that your post count would go up and you could have more posts than anyone so that you could beat them and win the prizes without giving anyone else a chance to post their posts before you post all your posts so that your posts will be more than my posts...." etc, etc, etc.

Just keep that in mind as we move into that last couple weeks of the contest!

Thanks!
|cheers|

Now I think you hurt my feelings Adam |frown| Some of us dont have a real life outside of this forum and our Vettes. Posting just to post is so much fun, especially the good natured "teasing" that is going on here. I am having a ball. |hammer|

We really should get back to Q & A about Vettes. I can see why new members might not want to come back. Of course nothing says they can not join in, it isn't like any of us know eachother ( well a couple do ). |wavey|

Glenn,

Actually, I was thinking the same thing. Too many threads have become nothing more than chatter, and have nothing to do with the original topic of the post.

The forums are mostly for C3 Q&A, like you said. Occasional chatter isn't a big deal, but I think there are three threads about the same pointless chatter right now. That's a bit excessive.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not telling you guys/gals not to have fun, but just try to stay focused, so like Glenn said, new members will find recent conversations interesting and they'll want to stick around.

Thanks!

I'm in agreement with Glenn and Adam that the C3 related forums should be getting back to more Q&A content. Perhaps adding a forum to the Non-Vette Related category, which could be like a psuedo-Chat Room, would give folks a place to chit-chat and keep the C3 related forums more focused on the topics posted. Just a thought.

Hey Adam, first of all, great job on the website. It's a great resource

Secondly, maybe you should have a running count of the posts even after the competition is over. I know I have no shot at it, I just found out about it today :) But I haven't been posting that long but I definitely plan on staying now that I found this place.

Maybe some sort of automated program that just counts up the amount of posts per person and sets up a list of the top 50 members or something. It'd be great if it could have a Total Posts, and This Month's Posts, and maybe even Daily Post Leader.

Just a thought..
back to working on the vette

Anyone else think this would be a worthwhile feature?
