Starting in January, Gold Members will receive a Quarterly Printed Newsletter. Right now, I am in need of people to submit article ideas and full articles for publication. If you have an idea for an article or feature, or would like to submit your own article or feature, please let me know immediately since publication will have to be completed by the end of December. Just send an email to NewsIdeas@C3VR.com

Possibly a write up of a club's show or special event. Those who went on one of the caravans or took a trip to Bowling Green might like to write an article about their trip, the experiance in general and maybe discuss some of the people they met on the trip. That usually makes for good articles in the national magazines like Vette.

Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.
Maybe someone who has performed maintenance or troubleshooting on a common problem (and possibly taken pictures along the way) could do a quick write up along the lines of the Tips and Tricks section of the site.
Adam, you have the project car. Did you take before and after photos while you were having the work done? Hate to say it but I have way too many hoses missing (that I need to replace), and some that just lead nowhere, and looking at an engine the same year as mine might make my dilemma that much easier.
How about a special report (doesn't have to be long) each quarter from a member that owns a corvette from each year of the C3 period, giving us the lowdown on specific aspects of their year vette, or what made them buy the year they bought?
Then there's always the problem with guessing what year someone else's vette is! I kind of hate having to ask, and can usually get within a year or two, but it would be nice to be able to speak with other owners, knowing the year right off. Aren't there distinct (even though possibly minor) changes from year to year that can make it easier to identify (for instance the two-piece rear on the...oh now, which is it '74 or'75? I'm pretty sure '74, but I'm not positive).
As you can tell I love to write so I'll probably be submitting something along the way.
Just a few more suggestions for you.
