Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
Thanks to a suggestion by a C6VR member, I have changed the VIN sort in the C3 Registry Data Tool.
It used to do a straight alphanumeric sort. This did not really put them in assembly line sequence.
Sorting on the last 6 of the VIN only, will do that.
It is now possible to easily see which members are close to you in sequence.
Check it out.

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

Nice feature! How about setting formats and using drop downs or something to ensure people put the VIN in the correct way. I know most here aren't like that, but I have seen numerous ones where someone puts in a wrong letter here or substitutes a "5" where there should be an "S" or something like that...
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
Very cool Adam!!
I was looking at it the other day, wondering where my vette fell into the range. Thanks!!
I didn't realize that mine fell towards the end of the range, since it had a build date of May, 1972. I guess that makes sense because the new models start to arrive in the fall.Bry58501 2008-01-03 16:19:46

Thanks Adam! that is way kewl..... now if I can get over to O-HI-O I might visit with my long lost OEM low horsepower GM brethern......
Like Marshall says, there are a few wrong numbers in the list.
Would be nice to have them corrected, but even better to make it fool proof so you can't put a wrong number in.
