Adam, would it be possible for the members number ID to be put on the profile that is made for other members to look at. It would probably go in the members since column. I realize this might be a problem since there is 600 plus members now.

Hey Adam,
Looking at the Member Map & Stats page I had a thought related to the "Count of Member Cars by Year " numbers. I noticed that a couple of the years have surpassed their numerical value ('69 - 72 cars, '82 - 109 cars), with a couple getting close ('70 - 69 cars, '79 - 70 cars) and several still having a ways to go (74 - 34 cars, '75 - 36 cars).
Just for fun, why not give some recognition to the member who becomes the 68th one to register their '68, the 69th to register their '69, etc. Those are landmark numbers just like the 500th or 1,000th member joining C3VR.
And then after all those numbers have been met, do the same thing for the 168th '68 registered, the 169th '69 registered, etc. The member that hits the "Golden" number (the 1,968th '68, the 1,1969th '69, etc) could get Gold membership free or something like that.

Well, first to answer your question... Yes. It is possible.
But I have a question for you... Why? Why would you want to see that number? The number that is assigned to a new member as they sign up, is not necessarily the number they were to sign up... for example, Norsky is 419, but he probably wasn't the 419th to sign up. Ocassionally some account are deleted, and I know a whole bunch were deleted back in December. So the number doesn't have a whole lot of meaning.
Still wanna see it in the profiles?

No, If that number doesn't accurately portray the time in which the member became part of the registry then I guess it would be of no use. I thought that the number ID system was an accurate way of keeping up with members as they joined the registry. Guess Not!!!

Doug,
Adam's probably going to hate me for this, but maybe what you're looking for could be found in a membership data lookup similar to the registration data lookup. The privacy options selected by each member would have to be honored, but my guess is that certain member information is considered public and could be displayed without compromising the privacy options.

Great idea Norsky, sounds like a plan. Now if I can just get you thinking Black/Silver instead of Red
