This is why I love C3VR....
one of our members (kstyer) rebuilt my carb for me. I shipped it out to him, he fixed it up, shipped it back. Then, I had some trouble with it tonight, so I called him and he walked me through, step-by-step, patiently troubleshooting with me until we found the problem and fixed it.
Now, obviously this story specifically involves Ken, but without C3VR I likely would have never met him. And on top of that, I've had help from numerous members over the almost 6-1/2 years of C3VR's existence... kstyer, Adam's Apple, 82dukman, 4webers, stingrayjim... just to name a few. These people treat me like I'm a lifelong buddy. They don't treat me like I'm an idiot when I prove that I have NO idea what I'm doing! And I know, that any one of you would treat me the same way if I came to you for help.
You guys often thank me for running the site... but really, I just provide the platform on which you all do your thing and make C3VR what it REALLY is! A great community of C3 Corvette enthusiasts sharing and helping each other with the joy (and pain) of C3 ownership!
You guys (and gals) are the best!!
GROUP HUG!

Adam, Thank You for the "VISION" to provide the Platform. I think of C3VR, as the "COLLEGE OF C3 KNOWLEDGE". Everyone shares, relates, prays, contributes, and has a laugh at times. Long Live C3VR!

Now Adam, one of the purposes of this site is to share technical information about Corvettes, especially C3s.
When you e-mail a friend or call him directly, we (the rest of us non-Corvette astute beings) miss out on gaining that knowledge and learning from your mistakes.
So now you must create another thread telling what was wrong with your carb and what you had to do to fix it.

Let's see ya get that kind of service from the CAC!!!
That's one of the greatest things about this "club"...you CAN call other members if ya need to, and get the help/info ya need, or at least get pointed in the right direction.
If it weren't for C3VR, we'd ALL be much less fortunate.
