Howdy Adam, and a "Happy New Year" to You!!
I'm getting alot of computer time these days. I broke both my wrists on Christmas Eve, so I am typing at a "one-fingerpace".
Anyways, I was meaning to respond to your post about "Feeling a little low.."
I was a member of "The Venturers" motorcycle club before I joined this Club. Well, I totalled my bike, bought our 'vette, and joined the C3VR...Your website is SECOND TO NONE!! To me, it is unbeleievable that You can stay on top of this whole thing and keep it together!!
I, personally, visit our site at least 4 times a week. I have posted several times, and ALWAYS have gotten inteligent, fun responses. The folks that are members here, are all here for one purpose...to promote "Corvette-Knowledge", and to have some fun.
It says so much about You, Adam, by the Group of folks who have chosen to be a part of "OUR CLUB"!!
I've rambled on enough, but it was very important to me for You to know that I appreciate your efforts, and I feel safe in saying,"The entire C3 Community Thanks You, Adam, for all You do for us, and Our Club!!"
Thanks to you all,
Happy & Safe New Year,
The GRIZZ

OUCH...!!! Grizz, I feel your pain. I also broke both my wrists back in the summer of 1972. Eight weeks of plaster from my knuckles to mid-bicep - not my idea of a fun way to spend the summer. It was a VERY humbling experience for a 20 year old. There was very little I could do for myself, as I'm sure you're finding out. Hang in there and keep smilin'!

Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.
Okay, I agree with everything Grizz just said...but he opened a can of worms here! Not trying to get too personal here, but how in the #$%@ did you break both of your wrists Christmas Eve?!
I know the last time I broke anything it was because of my own stupidity in tangling with my hundred pound German Shepherd, so please enlighten us!
You have my Best Wishes for a safe and fast recovery, but you also have my curiosity.
P.S. Grizz, have heard Flint is having a 100 year celebration for the Corvette along with the 100 year Buick celebration. I believe it is scheduled for June. When I find out more info I'll post to the website. Forgot the article at home this morning. Maybe us Michiganders from the C3VR can make a showing?!

Grizz,
Thanks for the nice comments! It really does help make it worth while when I hear things like that!
And like the people above, I'm very curious...
You can't just make a statement like "I broke both my wrists on Christmas Eve," and not give details! We want details, man!

Howdy Again All,
Here is the "Big-Dummy Way to Break Two Wrists"....
We raise horses as a hobby. I was leading in my wife's 4 year old Mustang mare,(named Little-Bit). Something spooked her, and she bolted. As I let go of the leadline, I got twisted and thrown to the ground. One wrist got fractured as I hit the floor, one got fractured as she ran back and whacked my hand/wrist.
Her name has been changed by adding "CH" to the end of it!!
As far as going to Lansing in June, that would be cool!!
Oh well, time to get back to "Judge Judy"..."This Sucks!!"
Our best to You all,
Grizz....(I can type with my feet!!)

My wife's hobby is 3 Arabian geldings and who knows what causes them to spook occasionally (ever heard a butterfly break wind? I'm convinced "The Boys" do!). I've been pretty lucky (so far!) never to have been thrown off or stomped on. Glad you weren't injured more severely.
