i read in the help section that only gold and lifetime members can add pictures to their signature it's too bad the regular members can't or is there a way I'm missing.

Not true. Check out my reply in the 'adding photo' thread by clicking here.

Something else to consider though, by becoming a Gold or LifeTime member you not only gain access to the 'Personal File Folder' and 'Personal Web Page' areas, but you also help to support C3VR. Currently the Gold level membership costs less than a full tank of gas for your Vette!

You're right... the help is missleading.
I just modified it to better explain how standard members can add a sig to their profile.
