I am in the process of implementing the new forum software.  It looks like I still have A LOT of work a head of me, but this should get us started.

The nice C3VR top menu will not be available until I have time to work on this more.

Please let me know if you run into any problems.

Thanks!!

Are you missing something from inside the forums?  Or are you missing something that you usally get to from the blue toolbar at the top of the page?   If you're talking about the toolbar... that will be back ASAP.  If you're missing something from inside the forums, please let me know what.

Thanks!

Well, since you axed...
The icons that used to be on the bottoms of individual posts, such as the "Edit", "P/M", "Profile", etc., are not there. I don't see a place to check "Who's on-line/Users on-line", but I have that as bookmark, anyway.
I did notice the "Memberlist", and the "Calendar" a the top. That's kewl!
I have to turn off my pop-up blocker to get the smilies("more")- that's new too!
Also...(remember, YOU axed! ) if I want to put a smilie in, it always puts it at the very bottom, or the END of the post, not where I want it. Like, if I wanted to go back and put one after the first sentence of the post, it will put it at the end instead, no matter where the cursor is.
Minor stuff, I'm sure. New stuff will take a bit to get all ironed out, and I'm sure you can do it!
Oh, did I mention my "Post Delay' problem has gone away?! See if we can keep this feature!!
Thanx for all the hard werk you do, Adam!

Well crap!
Now that the ads are back on the pages, the "delay" has returned. How could this be? This morning, when you first started the change-over, my posts were lightning quick. Now, they are back to Pony Express quick.

Also, if you go back and "Edit" a post, the text gets changed...and the "smilies" are no longer smilies...they are text.

You have to hit "Reply" in order to get all of the features for posting, such as "Insert Image", or the normal "Emoticon" view.

I'm such a whinner, no

Near the bottom of the page, where it says "Copyright Web Wiz Guide" it should say "This page was generated in x.xxx seconds."
What does it say when you experience the delay you are talking about?
They are all under 1.000 for me right now.

I have seen it say "This page was generated in 76.ooo seconds"!!
Earlier today, when you first changed over to the new stuff( I think I noticed around 12pm?), it was kicking booty!! I was clicking, and seeing the post come up in less than 1 sec. Then, as more stuff was added/returned, it got back to the looong delays again.
The "page was generated" doesn't always correspond to the actual time it takes, in my case.
I'll check on this post, and see what the time diff. is.

This post took about 8 sec. to appear.(an improvement to be sure, but will it last?)

Those should be back now.  (If you're looking for moderator controls, I still have to reset those).

This was part of the blue menu bar at the top.  This should be back on most pages now.

I'm not sure if these will stay.  We'll see.

This, of course, is a local issue for you and your setup.  Popups from C3VR should always be allowed!  I will never put pop-up ADS on here.  Only PMs and other non-ad items will ever pop-up here!

Is this still an issue for you?  I just tried it, and it works fine.  You just need to make sure you put your text-cursor where you want the smiley, then click ONLY the smiley icon (or the more... link, then an icon on the pop-up list).  If you accidentally click on any other area other than a smiley icon (like the gray space around them) and THEN click the icon, it won't work correctly because it loses it's lock on where you wanted it.  Make sense?
