I know a Facebook question..so this negates probably 98 percent of you guys but here it goes..I posted my pics from Carlisle and liked them to facebook..I checked and it comes up with the title I put in then the site link to here..thing is it just puts the link into the forum page and not directly into the post that I made..It is a little confusing to figure out where to go from there..is there a way to make it link right to the post or is the way it is?? not sure if I did something wrong..

I don't think you can link to an individual post in a thread. The
Share Topic icon at the top of the posts will allow linking to the Topic/thread, but not individual posts in the thread. Either this forumware will not support that feature, or Adam doesn't have it activated. Either way, linking to the thread is the best yer gonna get at this point.
My Goldwing forum DOES have a feature that will allow linking to individual posts in a thread, but it has only been activated recently...we just now found it!

Ok so I did do it wrong..I went thru the LIKE button and went thru that to add the link..I am learning all this stuff with this site recently while the wife is off on break from school..I didn't see the button you pointed out..now if the Droid X I plan to get next weekend does what I think it will I won't need to be on here at all..which is good since the spell check works real good on the phone and is non existent on the home puter..
Thanks
Rich

I think the "Like" button for Facebook will also simply link to the page/thread, but not an individual post.

If the thread is located in a forum that is closed to non-members, it won't link correctly on Facebook - because when facebook tries to load the page, it will be denied access.

Thanks Adam..I didn't think of that one either..I really like this part of the site! It makes for fun conversation with people outside this group.
