I keep getting this error message when I try to paste a picture into the signature line of my profile.  It uploads fine and the pic is there when I "preview" the  profile but next click to "update profile" this pops up.  Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?  Thanks.

What is the URL you are pasting in?

Make sure that you use the CODE exactly as specified in the Upload tool.  It should look something like this:

[ IMG ]/member_uploads/1_100/4/lion2008102961831r.jpg[ /IMG ]

(without the spaces in the IMG tags)

Went back and tried again to no avail.  Even tried copy/pasting it directly from my 3CVR personal pic file. Still get same error message even though it shows in the preview pane.  Will keep experimenting!

Ethan, the problem is the names of your pic files. You need to re-name them, and leave out the parenthesis. you can leave the small or large in the names, but take out the ( and ). This is why it won't show in the sig box
Also, when you do this, make sure there are no spaces in the file names...

I went ahead and fixed your sig pic up for ya, Ethan.
I'm not sure where you are attempting to put the sig pic, but...
Make sure you are doing this from the Settings button at the tops of the forum pages. You cannot do your sig pics from the "My Account" button...you must do it from the Settings , then click on "Profile Information" text. From there, you can change/add/edit your sig. Also, be sure, if you make any changes, to click the "Update Profile" button at the bottom of that page.
