You used to have a very identifiable place on the home page for people to join the registry. Where did it go? I have had poeple in my club who want to join but are basically too computer illerate to figure out how to join. Used to be easy. Maybe you should put something back on the home page that kinda jumps out at you, you know like a big picture of Uncle Sam sitting in a Vette pointing at you saying "We want you " !

There already is a link to sign up on the home page. You and the other registered members don't see it because the page is dynamically built, and since you are already registered, there is no need to ask you to register.
If you want to see what I'm talking about, Logout, then go to the Home Page.
Thanks for the thought, though!

I think I would rather be "requested" to do an article than be 1. told I was vice president ( like it or not ) and 2. that as vice president I was also responsible for the yearly car show. Of course I mentioned that the club's by-laws don't allow that. That was when the fun really started

What kind of garage? How big? Wait....share the space with your other cars? You're going to allow that?

Webmaster? For your club? Thanks....I feel like crap right now. I've been so tied up with trying to get Destiny painted complete, that I completely forgot about setting up the clubs forum so we've got a place to chat among ourselves. Ooops. Gotta explain that tonight dang it......

Well, I guess I have to quality some of my statements. I am vice president of my club. I refused it but was told I was it anyhow. The grounds for refusal were that i had only been in the club for a year and did not know anyone or anything about the club. Did not seem to matter. Also used the same reasons for not doing the show. That did not matter either ! Well, the hell with it, I'm gonna try to do the best show they have had in years ! I do the web page because they really needed some exposure. next time I will just pull off someone's pants it will be much less time consuming. Not to mention that when work found out about it, I inherited the web site here. Now if I had Adam's experiance and knowhow with web pages, I could actually do a good job on my sites !!!
Good luck with you club.. When they jam something down your throat, just chew it up, swallow it, digest it and then give it back...with a smile of course !
