Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Here is the issue and I need help on the best way to fix it.
I scanned in pdf format a drawing that has some information that a person requested on this forum.  Other than emailing it to him which would cutout any other people that are following the issue.  What is the best way to post it.  I see that some just post the whole picture or drawings in a reply.  If necessary I can do that but is there a way to put a link up so they can pull the drawing down.
I know that the link would not last forever but after a couple of months if it is needed again it could always be put up again.

Gilbert...you need to convert it to a jpeg file. Then you could upload it to your PFF(Personal File Folder) here, and post a link to that. It would be there forever, until you deleted it, or the server took a crap.
If ya want, you could e-mail the file to me, and I can convert it for you(unless it is a "protected" pdf file) , and put it in your PFF. If ya wanna do that, P/M me, and I'll give ya my e-mail addy if ya don't have it.

Thanks Joel  I saw the personal folder and that you only wanted picture files.  Is there a big reason that you do not want pdf loaded up also.  I can convert it to a picture without a lot of trouble.  I just put it into PowerPoint then save that as a jpeg.  I'm sure there are easier ways it is just the one I use most often.

The Personal File Folder area is primarily for images, but you can use it for anything that fits under the file size limit.  If you were to upload the file to another host site it could be referenced from there as well so long as that site allows external links to be built.

Hope that helps.

I have tried to upload PDF files before, and it wouldn't accept them... It wasn't a file size limit issue, it had more to do with it not being an image type file, like jpeg or a bitmap file. It's been a long time since I tried it, tho.
