The dadgum facebook/twitter etc etc stuff popping up on the right sides, and the other stuff creeping up from the bottom of the pages is distracting as hell...and annoying...and I can't seem to get rid of any of it.....

I just added it. Sorry if you don't like it. I'd imagine you'll get used to it.
Traffic has been slow lately and these items are supposed to help generate more, and keep people on the site longer.
I need to do everything I can to get more traffic.
Thanks for bearing with the change and for your support.

Crap Joel I agree you have to be careful with that stuff. I just clicked on Facebook for S&G and I think I posted this post.....................Oh Oh I'll keep checking if its up and get rid of it if I can.....................

OK I guess I didn't click the wrong stuff Joel Least you complaint didn't go public.

I'm getting used to it and you can hide it if you don't like it. I found this thread through the suggestion at the bottom so it does have its merits. We do need more traffic on here to keep it interesting; good on you Adam for trying. I wish more people would come on and learn what a great bunch of folk we have on here. I know I've learned quite a bit about the car and "met" some great people.
Greg.

ok Joel, how did you hide this stuff. Ive tried to get used to it for the last week but I cant! Im not into face book, twitter or any other social media. That damn ad wont go away. the popup on the lower right I can make go away but it comes back every time the screen changes. Hate to not to check into C3VR daily but Im choosing not to fight these pop ups.
Hope there is a way to get around it. Looking forward to eliminating this.
