I'm looking for an idiot proof program for resizing pictures, editing the works. Picked up a new lap top for the misses and figured I would load it up with some easy to use programs.

If you want a free-bee, I use a program called INFRANVIEW to resize and slightly tinker with my photos. It's not a desktop publisher so if you want to do fancy stuff, it's no good.

I use Microsoft Picture It! Photo 7.0.
It came with my camera.
Easy to use.
Does every thing I need.

Sorry I use PhotoShop 8.0, far from easy to use.  I've had it 2 yrs and still can only edit photos  

I'm waiting for my son to take the PS class in college to teach me some ne tricks

I agree. Irfanview is one of the neatest programs out there - free and frequently updated.
