What does the pop-up say?
What kind of connection are you on? (Dial-up, etc)
What browser do you use? (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc)
Sometimes, the font on posts here will change by itself, for some reason. At least I've seen it happen on my posts...

The only true Pop-Ups you should ever get here is if someone sent you a PM. There are no advertising pop-ups here. So if you are getting them, then you have an adware virus on your PC. You need to run your virus checker and adware checker (if you have them, if not, get them).
Not sure about the strange characters.
Does these things happen on all pages or just some? Does it consistently happen on the same pages?
Is anyone else experiencing these issues while using C3VR?

Thanks for the detail. Ok... the majority of the ads on the left side are ads from Amazon.com. When you roll your mouse over it, it is suppose to give you more information about the item including price. It is not a traditional "pop-up" window in the sense that it should not open a new browser window. It should only create a tiny little box with the info and when you move your mouse away it should close.
These have been in place for a very long time. Possibly 12 months or more. I'm surprised that this was never an issue for you before. Even by accident, you would have run your mouse over those ads.
You said you have MSN TV? Unfortunately, I know nothing about it. I wonder if maybe you got an update to your software lately, either knowingly or not that is conflicting with the code that creates the info box.
Does anyone else have MSN TV? If so, do you experience the same issues?
Do me a favor.
Please go to http://www.c3vr.com/test.asp and tell me exactly what you see on that page. (Copy and paste it into this thread).
