Hi Adam, Have the posting limits been changed (shortened) recently ? I always seem to fall victim to time out limitations. Kind of a kick in the butt when you take the time to do a quality posting and it won't post. I'm not a keyboard wizard and it doesn't come easy to save it somewhere and then find and retrieve it. I don't know, maybe I'm just "attention deficit".

It's no cornspiracy...I've been having the exact same issue for the past week or so. I have learned to "copy" all of my posts before hitting "Post Reply"....well...MOST of the time I remember...
.
I took a screen-shot of the message this morning to show Adam what is happening, but it's on the puter at home, and I ran out of time. I have had that happen when posting only a few werds, or when posting long-winded drivel. I'm always logged in on both sides of the page. Hitting the refresh is all that it takes to get the post done...IF you have copied/saved it, that is.
Jimmy(and all), to "save" the post before hitting "Reply", just LEFT Click and hold your mouse in the post box, and then drag it to highlight the entire message you just typed. Then release the clicker. Then Right Click... There will be a window that comes up, click on "Copy". Then hit the "Post reply" button. If for any reason the message you typed is lost, or you get the dreaded "Access Denied" message, then just hit the Refresh button on your browser. Then go to the post box, Right click inside the box, and then click "Paste". Your message will magically appear, werd fer werd. Then hit "Post Reply", and it will go thru.
I can only advise everyone to start "Copy"-ing their posts until this gets corrected....and even then, just do it because you KNOW it's gonna happen every time you type yer little fingers off for 20 minutes on a reply....and then it vanishes....and you want to kill something...
Thanks for bring this up...again.

In an effort to try to increase speed performance of the site, a few weeks ago I made a change to a setting that seems to have caused this problem... or at least to cause it to happen more frequently.
I just went and took that setting away, so hopefully this will clear up the problem.
Please note that daily at 2:16am Arizona Time the site will refresh it's memory, which can cause this problem. So if you're on here then, copy your long messages (as Joel describes above) before clicking the Post button.
Thanks.

And I thought it was just my slow typing! You don't want to know what I was saying as my post got wiped out (and you know my posts are always insightful and to the point
). At least I know now what to do!

Thank you Adam, Joel, and Ken. I'll do my best to learn from this info before forgetting about it again.
