Charlie,
The one thing that is a little deceiving is in your Personal File Folder the URL of the image is underlined so spaces disappear in the file name. Underscores ( _ ) also seem to disappear because of the underlining.
Try this experiment - go to your PFF and click on one of the image links. When it appears in a separate window right click on the image and then select the 'Properities' option on the menu that popped up. If you see a percent sign followed by 20 anywhere in the URL, either alone or repeated, that means there are one or more spaces imbedded in the file name. Here's what I copied from the properties of your signature image: http://www.c3vr.com/member_uploads/2401_2500/2460/Picture%20%20%20corvette%20044.JPG
There are at least two options to correct the problems you're having posing an image or image link -
(1) rename the files in your PFF replacing the spaces with dash ( - ) or underscore ( _ ) characters (this may mean deleting and reloading the images);
(2) instead of typing the address as it appears to be in your PFF list, paint (or highlight) the entire file name/link, then copy it, and then paste in into either the URL or IMG html tags.

Jim,
I removed the underlining of the URL listed on the Personal Home Page and Personal File Folder pages.
Should be helpful to people going forward.
