Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
I'm trying to answer or send a private message it works once in a while but not often. Is anyone else having this issue?

What browser were you using when it didn't work?
Was there an error message? How did you know it didn't work?
What browser did you switch to that made it work?

I've been in touch with 2 members via PM recently and in both cases, on their 1st attempt to respond, I received the message, but with no info in them. A 2nd attempt worked for the 1st member, but it took a few trys for the second (tb2k82ce).

I was using FireFox 8. I may have one of the options not set up correctly. After your question about which browser I was using I switched and sent it with Internet Explorer 8 seemed to have worked. Jimmy will have to confirmt that as I was one of the guys trying to talk with him.
He finially desided to see if I was just egnoring him and provided his nomral email and I sent him a reply so we did get connected finally.
Jimmy it a small world when to C3 owners seemed to have crossed paths so closely.

I have sent a couple that did not respond as well. The screen said they were sent, but have not received an answer yet. I am not finding fault with the site, just do not know if my concern is related to persons or system. Thanks

You can use your Outbox to answer a couple of your questions:
- To find out if your PM was sent, look for the PM you just sent at the top of your Outbox. If you see it listed, it was sent.
- To find out if your PM that was sent actually contains the text that you typed, click the title of the message in your Outbox to display it.
- To find out if the recipient of your PM read your PM yet or not, look for it in your Outbox and notice the envelope icon to the left. If it looks open, they read it. If it looks closed, they have not read it. (You can also hover your mouse over the envelope icon to find out it's meaning).
