One thing most folks don't remember is...there IS a size limit on the pics you upload for your profile or avatar. I know the instructs say it will be automatically re-sized, but it will not accept LARGE image uploads. Avatar images should be in the 160 x 119 pixel range to work properly.
I'm just sayin.....Wink

Hi Frank.

There is no problem that I am aware of. Perhaps there was an issue with the file you were trying to upload.  It must meet these guidelines:

  • The width and height do not matter
  • File must be no larger than 10MB!
  • It will automatically be resized to 150 pixels in width if needed.
  • It will automatically be resized to 175 pixels in height if needed.
  • Only these file types are permitted: jpg, gif, jpeg, bmp, tiff, tif
  • Filename should not contain spaces or special characters (only letters and numbers)
You should be able to do this in Your Profile in the Profile Picture section by clicking the "Click to upload an image" link.  Make sure to click the "Update Profile" button at the bottom of the profile page after you are done!
