Ya'll are gunna hafta give Adam more info to be able to determine WHERE/WHAT the prollem is.
What browser/version are you using(IE, Firefox)?
What OS(Windows XP, 7, etc)?

I have to log in MANY times on the 'puter at the shop, both for here, and the other Registry sites(C4/6VR), but not here at home. That is a BROWSER issue...not a site problem, afaik. Try looking at the "Having Problems Logging In?" post in the FAQ....that will help most of ya, I think.

I have not had the issue of clicking on one thing, and it taking me to something else, or repeatedly going back to the same page. That's a new one, and I'm certainly happy it ain't ME having that problem. I'm usually the only one that ever has issues, and it's mostly due to being on dial-up here at home, BUT....I have MORE problems with the shop 'puter, and it is a high-speed connection, but an older WindowsXP/Firefox version.

Anyway....Adam has to have all of the proper info to be able to determine what the issues are, and how to correct them. Help him help YOU! Thumbs Up

Tried to reply to another post and got kicked to the default page.  Then I've tried four or five times to be able to reply to this post and keep getting kicked to the default page.

Hopefully this posts...  Nope, not first try...

Things like "it will not take me to the all other post area" are not helpful to me.  I don't know what "it" is and I don't know what the "all other post area" is.  Please be as incredibly specific as you can.  Pretend I'm a 2 year old and you have to explain it to me for the first time.

Also, which browser you are using is important (thanks, Joel). So please let me know which you are using when you experience the problem.

For those of you having trouble, you may want to try the instructions you can find here to clear your cookies. But keep in mind, it will delete ALL cookies for ALL sites you've visited. What that means is that if you've saved passwords after logging into a site, you'll have to enter your passwords again for C3VR and all those sites too. Basically, clearing cookies is like telling your computer to act like you've never visited any website before.  So make sure you're ok with this outcome before you do it.

Thanks!

I've been experiencing the multiple signin issue.  Cleared temp files and the C3VR cookie, logged in, went to reply to this thread and had to log in again.  Hopefully I won't have to log in again to get this posted.  It has not been consistent in where I am in the site.  Sometimes I can refresh the page and I'm logged in again, sometimes not.

Using IE 7.

I clicked on the 24 hour active thread list to see if there is something I want to look at.
Then I logged in and clicked on the thread and I had to log in again immediately.

Last night I clicked on the 24 hour active thread list and decided to offer some suggestions to Redwingvette's tire issue. So I logged in and typed out my reply, clicked on Post and then I had to log in again. I logged in again and tried to re submit my post and I had to re log in again losing everything I wrote. Needless to say I gave up.

I'm using Firefox on my Mac and my internet connection is Verizon Fios.

This is just too weird. I have the exact same log-in issue at the shop, but NEVER here at home. The shop 'puter is a pos, and the boss has it set up to NOT store any cookies, nor can I go into the tool box area and clear the cache, or anything else.
It runs Winders XP, and Firefox, but I don't know what version of FF it is. I just updated FF here at home(FF13.somethingorother) last week, and am running Winders 7 on dial-up.
Weird that I seem to be the only one NOT having log-in issues...it's usually the other way around.

Adam is a two year old...that's a gud one! But...I have trouble unnerstanding some of the posts, too. "I click on a link, and it takes me back to the page I just clicked on." I'm sorry, but that just goes right over me haid! LOL

Adam, I will add this observance....it seems that all of these issues just started about the same time you changed the 24hr page to only list tech threads, and added the "Like" buttons. Don't know if that has anything to do with it, but that's when I first noticed some of the issues cropping up.

Interesting observation.

There is no way the 24 hour list change would cause this problem, but possibly the Like buttons.  So I've taken out the Like buttons temporarily to see if it makes a difference.
Please let me know if anyone is still having the problem.

Thanks.

Here I am at "work" now, and I had to log in twice. Once when I first clicked on the site, then I came to this thread, and I was no longer logged in. But...I have said, this is ONLY a problem for me at werk, on the work 'puter. I'm thinking this is a browser issue, as far as MY issue.
I did just update the FF browser here, and it made no difference....it's just the way the boss has this 'puter set. Once again, I NEVER have to re-log in at home...just here at werk...

Otay...THIS post posted, but when the page came back up with my new post, I was logged out again, even tho my post posted...if that helps.
