I must have missed the problem.
No problems at work or home.
I "Like" it.

Ok....here's what just hapened to me...no problem logging in ever, have login saved...when I click my saved "favorites" link which is supposed to be the "Active threads past 24 hours" it takes me to "Active C3VR Tech threads", which I can live with. Went down to the link and clicked for the "Active threads past 24 hours" and it took me there. Then clicked on link to read the"BBC LS5 454....." thread and it took me back to the "Active C3VR Tech threads" page. Did this twice to me. Got back on "Active threads past 24 hours" page to report this and clicked on the "Time for a post on the way forum is acting" thread and it took me there to it...but when I clicked on the page 2 link it took me back to the "Active C3VR Tech threads" page again. Back buttoned to "time for post..." page and finally got to page 2. Went down and clicked on "Post Reply" button on bottom and it took me to the "Active C3VR Tech threads" page again...it did this 4 times until I finally got page to write up this reply. To me it seems as though the real problems started with the "Active C3VR Tech threads" page implementation. Again I am using Internet Explorer...most recent version, Windows 7. This happens pretty much on a daily basis. I have "Firefox" and "Chrome" installed, I will try them for a few days and see if there is any difference.

Ok, so the change in the Home Page only showing the Tech threads could not have caused this problem.  The only change I made to that is which threads get shown in the list. Not functionality was changed.

It does not seem to be the Like buttons, because even after I removed them, folks still had problems.

So I'm going to ask you guys that are having the problem to try to do one more thing for me....

When you are on a page and about to click a link (not about to submit your newly entered post), but just a link to take you somewhere, like form the Active Thread List to a Thread.... BEFORE you click the link, hover your mouse over the link and look at the status bar of your browser (usually the bottom left) and look to see what URL appears there. It should be something that makes sense.  Like if you're going to the Active Threads list, then you should see "24hours" in the URL.  If you're going to a forum link (like a thread, reply or category, you should see "vrforums" in the URL.

If you do see what looks to be correct in the URL, click it.  If it takes you to a place you are not expecting, let me know what it SHOULD have gone to and what it DID go to.

If you do not see what looks to be correct in the URL, then let me know what page you were on when you saw the wrong URL and what link you were hovering over.

I'm trying to figure out if the problem (disconnect/logoff/etc) is happening BEFORE or AFTER you click a link.  (My guess, right now, is after).

Thanks!

What happened now is...I clicked on link in e-mail to go to the "time for a post....." thread and in stead it took me the same "Active C3VR Tech Forum threads" pagwe. Did this 5 times and I gave up and clicked the link at bottom to go "Active threads psat 24 hours" list and got to the thread that way. This time clicking the "post reply" button woked ok. The status bar for the link in the e-mail read http://www.c3vr.com/forums/message_go.asp?MID=422510&jump=1#422685 but took me to the "Tech" list instead. Hope that's what you are looking for.

When you say the "Active Tech Threads" list, do you mean the Home Page located at http://www.c3vr.com  ??
also known as:  http://www.c3vr.com/default.asp

Yes
For what its worth, although it's a moot point now. It works a little better with Firefox but still have some of the same problems.

Joel, now that's funny...........(not really) Since I've been using the "keep me logged in", I've not been having trouble...........as Adam suggested.
