Yo, anyone else having trouble with C3VRMail??

It seems whenever I log in, and attempt to open a previously read message (or most anything else, for that matter), the machine sorta "freezes" up.  Only selected links will work.  Folders and mail don't open, etc.  Very frustrating. Cry

Could be user headspace and timing (especially considering the user and his level (or lack of) expertise), but it is frustrating nevertheless.

Hep me Mr. Wizard!

There does seem to be an issue with the g-mail system...sometimes it does take for-EVER to log in. Then they tell ya to hit "refresh", and if THAT doesn't work, check the "Help" section....huh? how the heck do I do that, iffin I cain't get in??? I also have problems, at times, trying to get messages to open.
Adam is aware of some of the issues with the new gmail...I'm sure he's doing whatever he can to resolve them.
Just be thankful it ain't just YOU!!

Mike - are you refering to the new Google based e-mail world?  The old everyone.net based e-mail world (???@c3vetteregistry.com) went away at the beginning of the year.

But to answer your question I have not had any access issues with the Google based e-mail world.  I'm on dail-up at home and do notice that if another browser session is hogging the band-width the Google e-mail will puke.  But as soon as the other session is done the g-mail comes right back on a refresh.

(btw - did you know that your member profile shows a Yahoo e-mail address)

Jim -- Thanks for the reply.

Yes, my address of record is a Yahoo.com account.  The other, to which I referred, is the new C3VRMail.com account. That is the one that never seems to work for me.  It is like time stops in that e-mail.  Guess it's a good thing I have not dumped Yahoo in favor of C3VRMail, huh?

I access both via cable (RoadRunner).  Mike
