Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.

Ken and Mark:

Click on your profile (next to logout) at the top of the page.  Find your signature picture string in your profile, highlight it and copy it.  Return to any page (I think) and click on Settings (one of the new Icons at the top of the page), scroll down and find the signature field in there.  Paste your old signature pic string in that field, then replace all of the (|)'s with ([ & ]).  Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to do this.

Let me know if you need more help.

Mark.  You were close!  I went into your profile and updated your signature for you.  I used the same one you had on the other forum.  Also, you didn't have the "Always attach my signature to posts" option turned on.  When you don't have that turned on, you need to click the "Show Signature" box in the Post Message form.  You signature should show up in your next post.

Adam,

I don't know what is wrong, but I have tried this so many times now that I lost count. I've followed all the instructions for copying my signature from the old profile, but I still get no picture?

I'm sure it's just me, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I also copied my signature picture into my storage space from the forum, but I don't know how to access that either.

Help!

Glenn

I fixed it for you.

You were close, but you had a few extra spaces in there, and your closing tag was missing the /

Here is a link to the possible tags you can use in posts and signatures: http://www.c3vr.com/forum/forum_codes.asp

I fixed yours too.  I made it a clickable link, because your image is REALLY large.  If you want to scale it down you can actually include it in your sig.  If you need help with scaling it down, you could ask Norsky.

Hey gang...

instead of posting test messages, you can use the "Signature Preview" link in the settings page.

Just below to the right of the Signature setting box, there is a link that says "Signature Preview".  Click that to see what your signature will look like in a post.  If it is wrong, just modfiy the Signature box and preview it again until you get it right.

If after you try and try again and don't get it. Let us know and we'll help.
