Who's going to Eureka Springs this year? Leila and I are going up on Thur. Oct 6th and staying to the 9th. We missed it last year 'cause my engine wasn't ready.
This year we're gonna try to make a run up to Branson. It's only about 50 miles and would be a fun drive.
I've got another 'lumbar epidural steroid injection' lined up for next week so I should be good to go. 
Anyone else going??
I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...

Well, it's getting close to that time of year again... Leila and I have our usual reservations for annual 2012 Eureka Springs Corvette Weekend, Oct. 4-7... It would really be nice to see some of the C3VR members there. We always have fun, make new friends, cruise and wave at all the people there to see the Vettes. Granted, it mostly C5's and C6's, but last year there seemed to be a lot more C3's than in the past. If I could just convince some of the neighboring C3VR members to go, maybe we could water down that ratio of C5/6's to C3's...lol It's a beautiful little mountain town, lots of good resturants and shopping. Branson, Mo is only about 40 miles away...a nice curvy road.. fun to drive... there are daily events like autocross, economy run, poker run..etc.. car show on Sat. Good try Dick, but I've been trying for several years to get others to come to Eureka Springs, but I guess it's just one of those tiny regional events no one pays attention to. I guess it's just us'n an y'all. lol... I guess C3Vr will have 4 reps there..would love to see more members there, but we'll enjoy it anyway... See you there! Dwain n Leila
