Thanks Jimmy. You gotta go sometime...like me, maybe next year !
Maybe we could even hook up...
Its a great time..lots of car and lots of people. In fact so many cars and people, I can see someone going and not having a good time. For me I go and don't do much driving. I stay at the Motel 6 at the corner of Virginia and Plumb. The Hotel is full of car people and we just sit at the corner in our lawn chairs, drink a few beers and watch all the car cruz Virginia Street.
The Peppermill Casino is within walking distance and I just walk down to see the cars up close. All the Casino have cars. I think like 5000 cars show up counting the ones that are registered and the ones that are not.
To me its quite an event and any avid car guy should at least try to go at least once. Just my 2 cents.....
thanks again

OH YEAH ! I'd love to hook up Steve. I think I'll start planning to attend in '09. I'll submit for a vacation around the event. Let me know if you plan on attending and I can schedule accordingly. I'll speak up before I make any reservations just in case you have similar plans.

Things are still up in the air for me.... long story. Sorry. Get a Motel 6 Book and check out where I have stayed. Corner of Virginia and Plumb. It fills up early. I think they will only take reservations 6 month in advance. Its a great group... same people have been coming back year after year.
And the price is reasonable too. But keep in touch Jimmy. Who knows I might make it. Thanks again.
