Any car shows or auctions in the Phoenix area from 10/14-10/21? I'll be visiting mom and she's probably feeling a little guilty so I'll be looking for parts or a car!

East of town....
We'll always head here for a lunch.....(greatest twisty road around to take a rented Corvette).
South East of town
Great spot to have dinner sitting outside listening to a band in the background.
Take a trip up to Jerome, north of Prescott. Neat old mining town with retired hippies who settled.
On Scottsdale road.
Downtown Scottsdale restaurant we'll always hit.

I'll be staying in Mesa and have use of my mom's car. Yes, I've persuaded her to let me use her Chrysler 300 SRT8. Hoping to take in a car show and do a little fishing while I'm there.

John, I was sent a video from my sister, who is visiting my mom in Mesa now, of my mom trying to get onto one of those bar-stool saddles in the saloon in Tortilla Flat Az. She's 73 and not too graceful in her effort but she makes it. Definitely one of the places we'll stop and another will be Mecum. Hopefully i'll be heading back in January for the big auctions. I think Barrett-Jackson and Russo and Steele are the same week.
