Seems like every year someone asks about HAN. Everyone should go at least once. I've been on the waiting list for "only" 3 years and finally got a spot for 2010. I'm going this year as a spectator. It would be cool if some other C3VR'rs could go.

Jeff, the wife and I would love to go but, there must be things I don't understand. What do you mean " waiting list"? Is that for reservations for a place to sleep? I've heard it's almost impossible to find a place even with reservations. Can you clue me in on the complications of going?   Thanks,   Jimmy

Vette(s): SOLD - "The Toy" - '70 Convertible
SOLD - "The Beast" - '90 ZR-1 (#682)
SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor
Sold - "BLKBRRD" - '78 Pontiac Trans Am
"BLUBYU" - '04 Coupe
I think the waiting list is for getting your car "inside the ropes".  Lodging is a whole other issue.

Any website(s) to look at for more information on the event?

Norsky is right. The waiting list is for showing your car (72 or older) and for getting into the roped off areas at the different casinos. Usually you need to make resevations for a room 6 months to a year in advance, but if you go for a couple days mid-week you can usually find a room on short notice. You can also stay out of town, like Carson City or Truckee.

Thanks guys. Carson city sounds great. I have nothing but fond memories. I think we'll try to get there this year. Thanks for the heads up Jeff.
