Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
It's up to over $75K now!
 
While I'll admit it's got a cool history (can you imagine having pictures of your car being built!), I gotta wonder...
 
Where do you keep a car like this for 29 years?
 
How often do you change fluids?
 
How much are you willing to pay to put personalized plates on a car year after year that you don't drive?
 
Lastly, if you look at the picture of the speedometer, there is a noticible gap between the speedometer bezel and the rest of the dash.  Is this a typical quality issue for Pacers, or does this beg the question as to whether or not those are actual miles....?



I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Thats normal for the poor quality in the plastic fit of the dash in these cars, but wow $75k, this is gonna be fun to watch.

I watched the original owner sell that Pacer a few months ago on ebay.  Very interesting story behind it.  He was saving the Vette for his son Mark, but his son was killed by a Mountain Lion while biking. Theres one scratch on the passengers side made by his son, and he never had it fixed in memory of his son Unhappy
