Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
Some people had requested forums devoted to the special C3s!
So I have created two new forums:
1978 Pace Car
and
1982 Collector's Edition
Use them well and enjoy!

Vette(s): 1978 INDY PACE CAR #3016 of #6502 built. Has original Pace car decals still in GM boxes the way it was delivered to GM dealers. per NCRS "UPDATE" Decals applied as of 3/8/02 (ALL ORIGINAL)
Chris, are you planning to put the 82CE factory decal kit with the gradiant stripes down the side, back on your vette.

Not right now. I have a friend that owns an airbrush business and she said she could do it for me. Then I would just get it clearcoated over top of the detail. I can't afford NOS, if I can find it, and the aftermarket ones' color really doesn't match(from what I've read/heard)

Sounds good Chris, I haven't thought about airbrushed stripes. That would probably look pretty good on your car and you are right about the kits being expensive, the last I heard Ecklers wanted around $1500.00 for their 82 decal kit.

Just incase you are interested, check out www.showboards.com
This guy is good, but a bit expensive, so I did it my self. At work we have a plotter and we have to use the paper before it turns yellow. Will email you a sample I made for my CE.
You need Microsoft PowerPoint to open the file.
My friend does not have the bolt u r looking for. Sorry
This site will growwwww.......
Will have to update my profile and become a gold member.

Hey Ray!
Great looking '82. If you wouldn't mind tho', please reduce the size of your signature picture a tad. Not all members have, or can even get, a broadband internet connection so the larger the image, the longer it takes for pages to load. Larger images are fine for the other picture places in your profile and registration. If you need some assistance just let me know.
Thanks!
