My first time on this site. Wonderfull to see so many 'Vette enthusiasts!
I am a member of the Corvette Club South Africa and we are looking for events for next year.
With the club being a "mainly-men" job, the events tend to be more "show & shine" than knowing-each-other. What are you doing for fun? I am looking to gather all our ladies together and have a fun drive, but the content is just not realising. Do you have girls-only events?

I have always dreamt of a Corvette and now owns TWO ('71-LS5 (Plate - 454V8, purchased Oct '03) & '74 - rebuilt,rebuilt,rebuilt (Plate - BLISS, purchased Jun '02)) - never dreamt of two though - this is definately NOT a complaint! On 5 October 16:20, BLISS shot the no 2 piston right through the block and just as well through my hart. My baby is currently in "intensive care". Hope to have it on the road soon.

It is an absolute JOY to drive a Stingray, and having to drive on our roads (our cars are right-had driven) is such a "lekker" (Afrikaans word for nice) experience. Also we have the whole year of wonderful weather, which I thoroughly enjoy!

I am from South Africa - born and bread here and definately female.

I had a peek onto your webwites - what a beaut ! Seems that the roar of these machines are having the same efect everywhere. I had a Suzuki Intruder 1400, but did not drive it much and decided to sell it - Thoroughly enjoy my Vettes.

There is only one Corvette Club in South Africa (in fact in the whole of Southern Africa). I am eager to find out what other clubs are doing.

We do have events like "Show&Shime", "Show&Shine", "Show&Shine"... and the odd beakfast run. I truly feel that there is more to this. Maybe an evening at the drive-in, or a games night, but on this one I don't have much of a clue.
We are preparing our calendar for next year and I would like to give it some spark!

Whenever I see the numbers of Vettes at an event on your websites, I envy you guys! I can just imagine what it should sound like.

Any tips?

I tried to down load you photo but I can not open it. We here in the USA are a sometimes tight knit group, on the internet. there is a much to learn about your vette here and others will help you often.
Have you been into the general discuission section yet? There is so much here it will blow your mind.
Your vettes picture showed up as a red x in a white box and I can not see it.

Welcome to C3VR...!!!

In order for pictures of your Vette to appear on the site they first need to be uploaded to an internet server. They will not appear for everyone to see if you source them from your PC.

Good luck pulling your events calendar together. Things may start out slow but will build at an amazing pace.
