I'm new here, and am so glad to see a WOMEN'S SECTION!!!  Why does it seem that this is the only site with one?  I grew up lovin acrs of all kinds, and spent most of my weekends with my best friend at Hilltop Cars where they restored all muscle cars.  I am so excited about my new vette- it's been years in the works for me to actually own one, but I also still love my '67 Mustang, and can't wait to find a good Javalin to restore.  Now why do most guys find that strange?  I think they're just embarrassed when I beat them.....

I don't think anyone here will think it's strange that you're a woman who loves cars - but a Javelin?  That's weird!!

Glad to have you here!

First of all, welcome to the site.
Second of all, congrats on the new (to you) Vette.
Third of all, take the plunge and join us. This is where you will find all the answers (and then some) to all your questions. Corvettes and everything else.
Sorry for barging in the the ladies only forum, but I wanted to be sure you knew that there are a few gentlemen here that appreciate women who love cars.

Well - just got the car home- about 1:30 this morning- after driving from near Dallas to South Carolina..... quite the trip.  She's BEAUTIFUL!!!!  Has a few minor issues, but nothing thats a real problem.  I have to fix a turn signal, minor paint touch up and a bit of loosening some clips on a body panel- but she drives better than most new cars....I'm in love...... pics soon to follow- as soon as I can get the camera charged (:  Thanks for the welcome all- and hey- the Javalin thing- I can't help it- its one of the only cars of that era that most younger people don't recognize- they are different, and not like all the other muscle cars we see on a regular basis....
