I'm new here, and am so glad to see a WOMEN'S SECTION!!! Why does it seem that this is the only site with one? I grew up lovin acrs of all kinds, and spent most of my weekends with my best friend at Hilltop Cars where they restored all muscle cars. I am so excited about my new vette- it's been years in the works for me to actually own one, but I also still love my '67 Mustang, and can't wait to find a good Javalin to restore. Now why do most guys find that strange? I think they're just embarrassed when I beat them.....

I don't think anyone here will think it's strange that you're a woman who loves cars - but a Javelin? That's weird!!
Glad to have you here!

Well - just got the car home- about 1:30 this morning- after driving from near Dallas to South Carolina..... quite the trip. She's BEAUTIFUL!!!! Has a few minor issues, but nothing thats a real problem. I have to fix a turn signal, minor paint touch up and a bit of loosening some clips on a body panel- but she drives better than most new cars....I'm in love...... pics soon to follow- as soon as I can get the camera charged (: Thanks for the welcome all- and hey- the Javalin thing- I can't help it- its one of the only cars of that era that most younger people don't recognize- they are different, and not like all the other muscle cars we see on a regular basis....
