June - Cool got it runnin'!!    An animal nesting in your heating & air system?? Sorry for the laugh, but it just sounds funny...glad it's outta there!!

Theresa - Man, the weather here is beautiful, but I'm not driving the Gold Thing. It's fartin' right now (backfire), I guess it's got gas! But, I think I'll take a spin in the C5 with the top off.
Did ya' enter the car show? Man, I would love to do a cruise with my Club, but nothin' is goin' on now. I your ride......SWEET!

Hey Mick,

Thanks! I always enter the car show, but there are so many beautiful Vettes, the judges really are tough! I have won my share of trophys, but its all about the fun we have when we go! The show even had an Elvis there, he sang ok, but he didn't move his hips like Elvis did....we played a practical joke on one of our members who has a C5, and he has a pretty good size wing on the back, so a couple members bought a stuffed chicken and had them announce that he won the Biggest Wing on a C5, he didn't know what was going on, so I took a picture of him, emailed it to our Club President, and he posted it on an email! I don't think the guy realizes what we did to him yet!

Our club loves to cruz and we have a lot of C5 and C6's, and when we cruz, they love to show off, well while we were cruzin, I was about the 10th car back, so I took advantage of an opening in the traffic and made it all the way up to second place, they were having fits, but its not that my Vette is fast, I just know how to manuver around the traffic, of course the C5 and C6's like to be first..... but we all love each other, no matter what!

I'm learning how to take pictures while I'm driving, so still need a little practice....

My club always does a breakfast cruz the last Sunday of each month, and we always try to caravan to the shows....after our monthly meetings we cruz over to the Hilton and eat dinner...the Hilton is our host hotel when we have our show in November, and they usually give us a separate dining area to eat and offer us buffets, they change it from month to month....so we cruz often!

Have a great day!

Theresa

Hey Theresa! I wanted to put a wing on the C5. Kinda like the look to jazz it up. That is too funny about that guy you pulled the prank on! Man, I'm gonna have to move to Florida, your Vette Club sounds like a lot of FUN!! I have to wait for April, then our club comes out of the closet. I might get to show mine at the Dallas Convention Center for the Dallas New Car Show April 6th. They need 10 - 15 to fill the display, wanting C4's and earlier generations. No trophy to win, but it would be cool to see it up there!

I don't know what happened to "for the guys" thread. It's out there somewhere. That was hilarious! They got "spanked" for that!! The guy's seem to realize that we "rock." Can't wait for JUNE!!! I'm kinda "wild & crazy" and LOVE to joke around. We will have a blast!!

Hi Mick!

Yep, it would be nice to see the cars out there even just for display....my club is sometimes asked to go to high schools that have a motor clubs to encourage the kids, and we do that as well.....

Our club moto is, " Friendship building a legend," which is kinda neat.... I really think it should of read, A legend building friendships, because the Vette is the legend, that builds the friendships...

Well let me know if you put the wing on your C5, they do lQQk good on....Wink

Have a great day!

Theresa

Yeah, I agree with ya on the second moto "A legend building friendships." Perfect!!

I'll let ya know and shoot a pic if I don't chicken out on adding the wing to the C5.

Looking forward to meeting you in PF & you have an even greater day!!
